 The Munch Bunch took their captive orcs, one in orc form and the other in turtle form, and questioned them about the Apostate.  They found that the Apostate commands the orcs. The orcs would do anything for him. The Apostate is growing stronger. And his base is north along the river, near the cliffs.  Upon learning this, the Munch Bunch went back to Alaphon Landing to get some much needed shut eye.  

When the returned to Elesgate, they found the water running red with the blood of the village, with one small halfling left alive and wounded.  They healed her, finding her name to be Hiltrix and learning that she knew nothing but the orcs had ransacked the village.  The Bunch quickly healed her and sent her on her way, and headed north to deal with the Apostate.

On their way north, they came upon an orc scout who had not yet seen them. Gold Brain quickly and silently went to flank him, only to step on a small branch when he approached, alerting the scout. As the scout stood to run, Paavu raised his father’s spear and made his father proud with an excellent throw, pinning the orc to the tree with the spear.  The orc cried out, and from all sides, the undead rose and began to approach the party.

 The Munch Bunch stood over the fallen behir triumphant and proud. The child climbed into the jaw and walked down the throat a bit and found an old spear.  Paavu cut open the belly of the beast and harvested a number of dragon teeth.  They field dressed and harvested fangs, claws, and hide from the behir.  Nuka walked out of the mouth proudly showing her discovery when Paavu’s memories came rushing back. Growing up, Paavu and his brother Garok competed constantly to inherit the spear of their father.  Being bigger, Paavu often won those competitions and his misses them dearly.  

The Bunch then went back to the fishing village to let them know the behir is dead, showing the hide and fangs as proof, and a number of the villagers tell them that someone has been sending the beast after the village. They begin tracking the beast’s lair. The trail led to the Dark Woods, and as they all entered a coupe of Orcs appeared from a hiding spot and began running.  Nuka reacted to orcs anticipating a fight or ambush and transformed into an umber hulk and succumbed to the monstrosity.

Gold Brain dashed after one orc while Dara jumped onto Dakota and started chasing the other. Then a third orc stood up and dashed off to the north.  Shava kept in pursuit an orc but turned around when Nuka’s umber hulk kept Paavu stupified.  Dara finished off the orc by turning him into a turtle and threw him in her pocket. Meanwhile, the umber hulk downed Dakota, and Paavu seeing his friend in danger came immediately to his aid and shielded him from the umber hulk while pouring a healing potion down his throat.  

Finally the umber hulk was defeated and she transformed back to her self and now the party prepares to question the turtle and the orc that is all tied up from Gold Brain. Meanwhile, where did that third orc go and what will it mean for the party that they didn’t stop him from getting away?
