 After saving Toy Day near Winterwood Village, the Bunch head back to the village to find it abandoned without a trace.  The group decided to move east along the Vanguard Mountains and came upon Alapon Landing.  They visited the First Bank of Alapon and changed out all their coins for larger denominations.  They went to the Bag Brothers and bought some colorful bags of holding for everyone.  

Visiting the beach bazaar they were motioned over by Derwin of Derwin’s Saddles. There he spoke of making a custom saddle for Dakota, an honor he would enjoy doing for such a beautiful creature, but also one in which he needs some rare materials.  The gang got most of the materials together, and went to the apothecary for a vial of quicksilver.  The vial is extremely rare, and the chemist stated that they would give it to them in exchange for them eliminating a behir that is tormenting a village north of town.

 The Munch Bunch landed outside a small town, that as they approached it was discovered was in shambles and on fire.  Panicked elves came pleading for help, bemoaning the ruin of Toy Day and the kidnapping of Frosty Winterbeard.  Leaping into action, the heroic party hurried to the workshop to investigate.  They found a number of bags of holding (clearly labeled by village) and signs of a scuffle. Following the tracks of a makeshift cart, the group followed to an old run down church.

After exploring the surrounding area, they followed the trail to a cellar door hidden under the fallen steeple.  They followed the creepy hallways past an altar of painted eggs, into a room where Frosty was tied to a stone tablet with the Egg Day Bunny standing over him, chanting in an unknown language while holding a knife over his head ready to strike.  The group (after much discussion) leapt into action to save Frosty.  The Bunny cast a quick spell and threw down some painted eggs, and stone golems emerged and battled the group.

Finding the key to victory as disabling the Bunny, the party struck until he was dead, ruining Egg Day forever but saving Toy Day, the superior holiday.  When the team unbound Frosty, he showed his appreciation by gifting some unique presents to them and then disappearing into a cloud of golden dust.

 We started last session in the midst of a nail biting battle with the king of the cloud giant castle.  The dragon blood stained rapier stabbed him good, causing him to be disabled by pain and allowing him to be finished off.  His angry ghost self went on a tantrum and destroyed the control room, causing the castle to begin crashing.  

Our panicked party discussed what to do until finally inspired to ride down on the backs of some wyverns.  Paavu, being the heaviest, jumped on a wyvern by himself and made it look easy, giving everyone else confidence to ride.  Nuka cast polymorph on Dakota, turning him into a rat and putting him in her pocket as she and Shava jumped on a stubborn wyvern. After failing to take off, eventually Nuka got control and guided that wyvern to the skies.  Dara and Gold Brain jumped on the back of the last wyvern. Gold Brain tried to get it to take off to no avail.  Dara tried, same results.  It eventually took off, and went its own way completely ignoring and unbothered by their attempts to steer with both a gentle touch or an intimidating grip. Finally, the way to a wyvern’s heart is through its stomach, they started throwing food in the direction they wanted to go and the wyvern would sail in that direction to eat it.

From just below the cloud lines, they saw a small village with lights still aglow down below.  They glided down to about a half mile out of town, hitched their wyverns and went happily on to town. As they approached, it became clear that the glow was the burning of the village.  Tiny elves were running panicked all over while the town’s small homes burned. They stopped and questioned a couple of the elves and found out that Toy Day may be ruined because Frosty Snowbeard has been kidnapped.
